I was very sad. Recently, in a episode of Smallville, Lex proposed to Helen (the doctor you know, the love of his life?) and while he did, they played “don’t fear the reaper” but it was cover and they didn’t use any cowbell in it.
I didn’t know which saddened me more. The fact that Lex was being an idiot and proposing to a woman, or the fact that there was such a lack of cowbell in an other wise creepy scene. I mean, really who plays Don’t Fear the Reaper while one proposes?
