OK, so who wants to come to a anti-bowl party on Sunday at our place?
I’m a bad boy
With authorization I picked up Sim City 4.
I’m in love.
Of possible interest to <lj user=”richard_gazley”> and others….
Blah
No new excitingness with me, I forgot to send out the invites for a possible Poker night, so there will be no Poker night tonight.
I am trying to restrain myself from purchasing “SimCity4” for the PC or “Gauntlet Legends” for the Xbox because neither are in the budget. I’ll have to wait for my slushfund next month.
We made a huge pot of low point (WW) soup last night that is deeelicious. I’m looking forward to turning the leftovers into a rice and chicken dish tomorrow.
That’s about it. Whoo-hoo, excitement.
yes, still obsessing over Queens of the Stone Age

Current Obsession
Queens of the Stone Age
Mosquito Song
I know, I know the sun is hot
Mosquitos come suck your blood
Leave you there all alone
Just skin and bone
When you walk among the trees
Listening to the leaves
The further I go the less I know
The less I know
Where will you run?
Where will you hide?
Lullabies
To paralyze
Fat and soft, pink and weak
Foot and thigh, tongue and cheek
You know I’m told they swallow you whole
Skin and bone
Cutting boards and hanging hooks
Bloody knives, cooking books
Promising you won’t feel a thing
At all
Swallow and chew
Eat you alive
All of us food that hasn’t died
And the light says
Somehow they pick and pluck
Tenderize bone to dust
The sweetest grease, finest meat you’ll ever taste
Taste, taste
So you scream, whine, and yell
Supple sounds of dinner bells
We all will feed the worms and trees So don’t be shy
Swallow and chew
Eat you alive
All of us food that hasn’t died
It’s all basically a “Carpe Diem” song, but the phrase “All of us food that hasn’t died” sticks with me. We’re worm food. Live each day.
What Heather said.
From my comment in her post:
Yes, I concur, I want to see all my local Bay Area Friends at Embarcadero & Market, kids in tow at 11AM on 15 Feb 2003.
This is democracy. This is education. This is making a difference.
Wee.
Work is better, if only marginally.
Tonight is all mine, as is tomorrow –
Sunday sees me working from home, and cleaning/puging crap from our house. MUST PURGE CRAP. If we intent to move to SF, we need a much smaller ‘crap’ footprint.
Oh, by the way, we got two new Kitties!! – Sam and LuLu.
And also, Queens of the Stone Age f’in rawk.
