Ok.

I am pining to get a game of Poker going. I used to play with a group of friends, but they all moved away and all I have is card decks and chips.

Friday, yay Friday.

I forgot to mention yesterday that it was 01/02/03 (for us ‘mericans). Fun, but pish-posh on you significance-in-numbers type mumbo-jumbo people 🙂 You know I love you crazy superstition lists!

Feeling a bit better today, but mostly because it is Friday.

I played a game of Footy (soccer to you ‘mericans) last night, we lost but I once again had some good fun.

I think has hibernation planned for us this weekend, so it is board game time.

I also forgot to mention that my copy of LOTR Risk had part of the instruction manual missing! I put in an order/complaint to Hasbro/Parker Brothers and I am supposed to be receiving a new copy of the instructions through the US mail. I hope it comes soon, I am dying to play. They rules are different enough from risk and just the proper amount of instructions are missing so that I almost can play, but not really because of ambiguity in turn order and conflict resolution. p00p.

Feeling strangely alone and distant today — tired as well. I’m hating my job especially today – sick of the Standard Operating Procedure (or lack thereof, rather). I could work toward fixing it, but I can’t really be bothered to care that much. Apathy sucks – it’s so draining, but I feel powerless right now.

I suppose I don’t really fell valued, professionally or personally.

I’m sure it’s just a m00d I’m in, sure to pass.

Back at work, blah blah blah

and I are having a 30’s bash for New Years (all are invited, there were no invites sent out, all are welcome).
I rented a vintage-ish Tux for the affair and plan to shave to the 30’s ideal French ‘stache (a la Willam Powel). I’ll post pictures.

Q: My fellow yahoogroup members and I all respect you, the cast, crew, and movie itself. Most of us indulge in a hobby called ‘fanfic.’ A great deal of us write (or read) ‘slash,’ and a few members write ‘RPS’ ­ (Real Person Slash.) What are your thoughts on such things? Do you consider them slanderous to your good character and/or to the good character of any actor/movie/etc?

A: I am not well acquainted with slash but find nothing harmful in sharing fantasies about favourite characters or their interpreters. Within the context of such sites even Real Person stories seem unobjectionable as they are clearly fictional.

I’ve not played it yet, but it looks to be a combo of RISK and Castle RISK, both of which I have loved.
I felt like a little kid.

On Christmas Eve, our sweet little cat Emo was run over and killed in front of us, so that pretty much ended any happiness to be had.
I really don’t even want to be at work today. At least can stay home and try to recover (her business is on break).
Things really suck sometimes.

I’m really ready for a nice surprise – these bad ones aren’t that much fun anymore.
