Yay!

Warning: The following post likely contains logical fallacies & has hidden premises. Oh, It’s also political.

Today is the “stop the filthy rich motherfuckers who are trying to take away control from the filthy rich motherfuckers who occasionally throw us a bone” day.

Please everyone vote no matter who you vote for, except if it is an actor. In that case, please kill your children and finally yourself after willing your estate to the American Civil Liberties Union.

Oh, and if you plan to vote for 54 and you actually consider yourself against racism or wishing to fight against racism, please read a book or a magazine or take a refresher english course (Critical thinking and logic will help as well).

Yeah, so I guess I don’t really want you to vote if you are an idiot. Unless you are a friend of mine, then go ahead and vote I guess.

I never thought the creeping disease of this current administration could reach my home state, nor that so many people would be held in the sway. When’s the pedulum swinging back? I’m tired of contempt and disgust. But most of all I’m tired of poor and ignorant people being lied to and tricked into supporting bullshit out of fear, but what should I expect? This is the land of Bullshit and Fear. A pox on them all!

School of Rock

School of Rock was the best worst movie i’ve seen in a long time. And it’s a family movie, too!

But I love Jack Black, so YMMV.

Work

First part of day sucked so much, we had beer at lunch.

Now everything looks so rosy!

I like this meme

I’ve seen it floating about, but this is from

Rank the following bands in order, from COULDN’T LIVE WITHOUT to COULDN’T CARE LESS. To add value to this process, you must also add one band to the list, and remove one band from the list, before passing the meme on (including these instructions).

From the good to the bad:

David Bowie
The Beatles
Queens of the Stone Age
Peter Gabriel
Portishead
The Clash
The Cure
Eric Clapton

I removed The Dismemberment Plan
I added Queens of the Stone Age

You get good things from books.

I am tired of supposed liberals and progressives that continue to forget that the ends never justify the means.

As a wise old fictional friend of mine said, “..even the very wise cannot see all ends.”

You cannot know for sure the outcome of your means, (scientific method sure gives us the best possibility of predicting outcome), but you cannot be sure (enought for you to suspend your judgement to do something against your personal code of ethics).

This leaves us with following the best path, best choice at the time, fighting the good fight, doing what you think is right. One cannot suspend better judgement or principals because “they deserve it,” or “it will be better in the end.”

Wrong (I mean your personal definition, your personal values, not a concrete reality) is wrong is wrong.

Fight the good fight, do the right thing, DON’T PUT ON THE RING!

Damn, I think I’m becoming an Atheist Christian.
