Just thought I’d pimp it.
Wow, what a blast!
Much fun was had, much liquor was consumed. Many wonderful people were chatted up, and even a few complete asses were ignored (every group has to have some, eh?).
My Elvis sunglasses were a hit, as was
I’m glad to be home in PDX. We visited for one night in Petaluma with dear friends and found (other than our friends living there) we don’t miss the area at all. Kinda weird/good – only three months and all we could do was be homesick for Portland. I guess we made the right decision in moving here.
I’m back and work has even gotten more demanding, which is really funny: Since I have at least 3 weeks left, perhaps more if they keep me, I am in a unique position to enjoy the stupidity, hubris, and unrealistic expectations of this retarded company. I feel quite bad for my coworkers, though. I hope they can find a better place to work soon before it all implodes.
I’ll see if I can scare up some pictures if anyone is interested.

Absolutely fabulous.
Al Franken was entertaining, I enjoyed listening to Bob Kerry, Michael Moore was great as usual. The Ann Coulter-locked-in-the-green-room joke was a hoot.
For the first show, it went off without a hitch and was smooth. I was also glad to hear a caller from PDX calling in. Portland represent.
I listened to streaming online, which
Relaxed, clear-headed and engaging.
I feel like I’ve had a full lung’s worth of fresh, clean air after a long submerge in muck.
I implore everyone to listen when possible.
I’m Liberal and I love America!
OK, my monthly “I want to kill everyone in the world” time has officially started.
RAWK AWN.
OKGO is playing at Berbati’s Pan, downtown PDX!
I can’t tell you how much I love this band – ok, I suppose I could, but really, do you want to read all that? Of course you don’t.

And yeah, www.okgo.net is back up.
So who out there in LJ land can tell me more about Ferry Corsten?
I’m in trance musical love. Must. Get. All. He. Produced. Now.
Thank goodness for the file sharing of others 😀
Looks like somebody’s got a case of the Mondays!
So any old-skool Commodore 64 game players on the ol’ friends list?
Anyone?

If you…
1. …owned a restaurant, what kind of food would you serve?
A strange mixture (I won’t use that ‘fusion’ term) of Cajun, Cuban, Carribean, Thai, Indian, Chineese & Mexican – all spicy. With a lot of rum. Ok , it would be just like Salvador Molly’s here in Portland.
2. …owned a small store, what kind of merchandise would you sell?
Gaming / Comic book store, with space for LANs and kids to hangout.
3. …wrote a book, what genre would it be?
Urban fantasy of some sort, but with a strange metaphysical naturalist bend; or perhaps travel lit.
4. …ran a school, what would you teach?
It would have to be an arts school – I’d teach music there.
5. …recorded an album, what kind of music would be on it?
Only one album? My first album would be folksy with a dance beat. I’d move from there on to other things….
hm. kinda boring.
