I love the onion.

I found my favourite position at the haunt:

A wayward girl. did my hair in pigtails (they were a bit short, on the top of my head) and I had dead-looking makeup, wrinkle lines, the aforementioned nail polish. I wore a cute orange plaid skirt, knee-highs, mary janes, and a white dress shirt with only 2 buttons buttoned. Hairy chest featured prominently.

So. Much. Fun.

Oh, the icing? I wielded a burnt-out stogie to finish the costume.

Soo sleepy today. Can’t figure it out – plenty of sleep, went to bed at a decent time. Hm!

OH MY GOD. Manhunt sucked so fucking much.

Disgusted. No matter how pretty the flesh may be, the format of that show and its copy is beyond reproach.

Oh well, back to gay porn I suppose.

So I did make that Turkey on Sunday. Yummers and Cheap. For 8 bucks we’ll get about 10+ meals out of it.

I picked up some local potatoes at the farmers market and all the ingredients for my Mushroom pastie/turnovers as well. I think I’ll make those on Saturday or Sunday.

Yeah, I haven’t had my lunch yet today, can you tell?

OH! painted my nails a lovely colour (she got it for me on xmas last year) called “jar of moonbeams.” It appears to be purple when viewed from an angle, but in light you can see the yellow/green metallic glitter. Very keen, and very happy I can wear it without any overt kidding or ridicule here. It is already chipping (which I like, it makes it look more ‘tough’ 😉 )

Good News: Aced my first Lab Exam

Bad News: got into a very small fender bender on my way out of lecture this morning – scratches is all, the other party and I will likely avoid insurance companies. Still, CRAPO.

Weee Friday.

Friday means I don’t have to wake up early tomorrow morning. I’ll have to remember not to wake up too late either; when I sleep in too much, I find it ruins my day in a haze.

I think I’ll cook a turkey this weekend, Probably on Sunday.

Back to work!

I’ve been daydreaming over IM with about fall cooking and such and now I want to spend the weekend in the kitchen, puttering about and producing mounds of fall foods like:

Mushroom Pasties
Pumpkin-Ginger-Carrot Curry Soup
Pumpkin Bread/Muffins/Cheesecake
Hearty Hearth Breads

Etc.

Fall is here and I’m in the nesting mood.

Weee! Thursday.

I need some coffee. I felt lazy enough to just wear a t-shirt and jeans, then felt fashionably inept. So, since the t-shirt is black (a crew t-shirt for the Halloween thingie and I are doing), I added two black leather bracelets (with silver star studs), a black bead necklace, and my black creeper-esque sketchers (with nice silver buckles). I think it kinda works.

Stayed home sick yesterday. Back at work today, school, etc…

Good decision to stay home. I feel better today, though still a bit under the weather – hopefully it will pass.

Kinda peschi on the debate last night. I think Edwards could have spanked EVILDICK a bit better. Still, he brought up some facts that many people watching may not have known (no-bid halliburton, Dick’s support of the same cuts that the admin is bitching about Kerry voting for, etc…)
