Almost didn’t make it into work this morning. I had an attack of warmbeditis. But I persevered, and here I am. Blah.
Spending today building and installing our new Exchange 2000 environment, following the install guide from a colleage in Minnesota. I don’t quite trust the guide so it’s one of those “do I follow the master plan and have it screwed up, or do I fix it (therebye possible covering for a bad implementation plan?)”
FOTR comes out on DVD tomorrow, so I’ll likely be finding a store that is open 24 hrs or late tonight to pick it up at 12:01AM. Yes, I am a freak.
Happy monday!

I got my copy of the DVD on Friday through some quirk of the mail order company I pre-ordered it from. Since I live far from where cinemas dwell, it was my first chance to see it and I wasn’t disappointed.
I have decided that one of the most wonderful feelings in the world is waking up grumbly because you’re going to have to get up soon, and then realizing that you don’t have to get up for an hour yet. Blifs, I tell you, blifs.
And may I ask why you need the DVD when it will already be midnight? Just how late are you planning to be up, playing with it? Will they be getting any useful work out of you tomorrow?
It’s a fool who looks for reason in the chambers of the human heart.
I’ll probably look at a few of the extra features, a few scenes, perhaps.
I’ve lived on less sleep.
However, I’m having a hell of a time finding a store open — Sucks somtimes to be out of a “big” city.
I may have to wait 12 hrs or so until it is in my hot little hand.

Have you tried WalMart? I have 2 within 5 mins of me that are open 24hrs. Also, check out Target, they might be open until midnight.
Our Wal*Mart closes at 11:00PM.
Target, 10:00PM.
I’m now judging the distance I’d have to drive to find an open Wal*Mart vs. Getting it at lunchbreak tomorrow.
It’s only 12hrs or so. Jeeze – I’m getting soft in my obsessiveness.
