I’d like to give Bush and his Administration 48 hours to leave my country.
At least I hope (in vain, I expect) that his talk of allowing soldiers to disobay illegal orders is an honest one.
But I’m still an Idealist, I suppose.

I love it.

Craig: that talk means nothing. It’s a standing order. When it comes down to it, what constitutes legal (lawful) and illegal (unlawful) is subject to interpretation, and often times depends on development’s after a soldier makes a decision about the lawfullness of an order. It gives military authorities great lattitude and protection. Military authorities can come down on either side depending on outcomes: They can put the soldier away for not following an order, which is in violation of the soldier’s oath, or they can put him away for following an order that is “obviously” unlawful. It’s a trap. No one wins but the military.
Most American soldiers are not sociopathic, however.

Hell no. They might come here
