Sup, my homies?

So, I’m posting.

How is everyone (other than how I have read in LJ, of course)

I’m interested in ‘s online LJ attemt at RPG. I don’t have any of the systems he is reccommending for character creation, perhaps will assist in that? Please?

Speaking of that, I still have to post the restrospect on the fabulous weekend , , and had a few weeks ago. There are some great pics.

The pub crawl was unfuckingbelievable in its greatness. More pics there as well to come.

I am taking next week off work as to relax and ease myself into a camping trip with ‘s friends – I am so excited it’s not funny!

and I are going to Pride in the City this weekend, we are staying at The Commodore in the Theather District. I’ll have my cell, so anyone who wants it, let me know.

Oh, I got a kickass Fender Squier Bullet Electric Geetar from , , and My sister. It is super cool. I’m putting all my extra time into lessons/practice. I am going to be a rock star. It has been decided. When you see me on TV, I’ll pretend not to know you. 😀

Work continues in its regular suckitude. One thing about being a good worker in times where too much is expected from you – other departments continue to make it easy to look good. TTFN

  1. I’m moving.

And yes I’m still interested in Shadowrun *sigh*

I feel bad I havent done more work though 🙁 I really should be hammering away at it, aside from moving, its not like I’ve any other responsibilities.

    Stay tuned. -_-

  2. Again? From Treasure Island? or is this to Treasure Island?

    Re: Shadowrun,

I think GMing is really like art – if you force it, it will come out crap. (this sounds quite crunchy-granola) It has to come out itself. I have found when I was setting up a campaign that the player’s characters could help with ideas and such.

But in any way, I’ll most likely be buggin, but I really do not mean any pressure by it – jeeze I’m just this guy on LJ, you know? When you get a game together, I’m there as a player.

  3. I’m curious, what kind of chrachter do you want to play? I’d really like everyone to start off on an even board (since a few people, namely my roommate, who want to play, are SR newbies), and make new charachters.

And all the concepts for the campaign are in place… the runs I plan on offering (and I’m also all for spontaneous runs… or player driven ones), the main charachters, the locales, etc… I just have to gel it together into a solid frame.

And this is the move TO the island. 🙂

  4. I have usually played elf shamans (yawn, predictable for me).
What appeals to me know is someone trying to find himself, perhaps not yet fully aware of his gifts, whether they be magical or cybernetic.

Perhaps a physical Adept with mild memory loss and a questionable background (though that sounds quite trite as well, huh?) I do like it, though.

  5. Cool. Its nice that you put some thouh into iving our charachter background… gives me the potential to do fun stuff.

*starts reading up on shamanic magic*

  6. I actually agree with your comment about GMing, when your muse isn’t whispering in your ear, the only thing you can do is mechanical things, like NPC stats and rules fiddling….

  7. I’m looking forward to seeing the pics from my weekend of foolishness spent with y’all.

  8. I made some changes on my LJ RPG – first off, I made it a regular user journal instead of a community. It’s at /users/tymarpg now instead of /community/tymarpg.

Secondly, I decided to standardize on Risus. The full Risus rules are 6 pages long, and super easy. Reechard isn’t that fond of them, but even he admits they’ll be good for a game like this. You can get them from a link on that page.

    Tim.
