Happy Drinking Day!

Or as I like to call it, “Thursday.”

My latent Celtophile wakes up a bit on this day, so let me have this chance to say something Irish to you all:

Póg mo thón!

  1. Yeah…Right back at ya pal’ie!

    Hehe!

Hope you have fun drinking hordes of green beer playing the penny whistle. 🙂

  2. Ah…Well, be sure to get a berr or two in…I think D is headed to Trader Joes for some “exotics” later on today…

If I don’t comment before the weekend, have a safe trip and a great time in SF!

  3. I promise to have a non-crappy beer for you this evening, since you’ll be busy. Happy “death to all Pagans day”! 😉 Have a nice trip eh? And when you come back, we must hang out. Or I will cry. You don’t want that on your conscience, do you?

  4. Yes, we will definitely hang out. No crying!

And, hooray for death to pagans day. It’s only slightly better than death to indians day (Columbus day). If they were such an enlightened people, how come small pox killed them, huh? 😀 (I keed.)

  5. +1 to that comment, have a good safe trip.

May the road rise up to meet you, and all that. Unless you are flying, in which case you don’t want the road to rise up to meet you at all.

  6. I prefer to see it as assimilation day, since the Caths just absorbed the heathens rather than completely killing off all of them.

It’s not like the Puritans or Holy Mudder Cherch gave the Injuns the “join us or die” option.

Ha, can you imagine? St. Haiawatha’s Day, Feast of Spider, St. Coyote, the patron saint of pranksters…

  7. St. Coyote, the patron saint of pranksters…

Isn’t that April Fool’s Day misplaced?
