Dead Man’s Chest

I had to see Pirates again, which I did.

Yep, Rocking movie.

I think what I find most impressive (the first movie exhibited this as well) was the deft skill in which the writers doled out expositional lines.

We’re forced to learn a barque-load of details, storyline, plots. At no time does it feel like exposition. Gibbs gets most of these lines and he’s merely bringing another character up to running, or explaining a finer detail. Skillful, efficatious writing.

The acting as well: top notch.

I suppose two posts is plenty on summer-fare, but I may be moved again when I see it for the third time (hopefully soon).

“My compass works fine.”
