In other news (work-related): I hate band-aids (in an IT solution sense). They come back to bite you in the ass eventually. But what else can one do when one doesn’t have the resources to properly solve a problem? A band-aid. It does give more resources to the issues than actually need it. Crap.

Band-aids are necessary evil. I just wish management types would really BELIEVE you when you explain it’s a work-around, a duct tape temp fix, not a solution to the problem. Then they wouldn’t have the expectation that the problem will never reappear.
Oh, yeah, and on a personal note, you drove off with my lunch today. 🙁
