On Saturday
We then went to spend Xmas money on clothes. It was very successful for both of us. A shot in the arm for our winter wardrobe.
Boring update, but there it is.
Pictures soon of my naked head.
The deranged mind of everyone’s favourite ne’er-do-well

I’m rapidly losing sight or comprehension of “the point.” You know, of anything and everything. Not it a truely depressing sense, mind you, but in a real sense.
Yes we all create our own purpose and follow our muses. We form loving relationships and friendships. Very specific ties and realities. Many specific points.
Ah, I’m just likely looking for a spectre to pin my depression on. Stinkin’ thinkin’ as Stuart Smalley would say.
I really used to live in not needing a “point.” Perhaps that’s my point.
So yeah.
Yesterday? Down all day.
Today? Up, but will their DNS lookup our zone correctly? No. W T F. So I reset our DHCP to server people our webhosting DNS, the authorized DNS for our zone. The rest of the fucking world’s DNS works fine in looking us up, What the hell is wrong with them?
Bastards.

Home sick today. Slowest working sickness I’ve had – it’s like it is trying to sneak up on me (it could also be that I’ve been taking vitamins and such, so it is a softer initial blow).
So of course, this would be the day that our ISP at work decides to have a wonky DNS, isn’t it. Also, our Router would be arguing with me too, wouldn’t it?
Luckily the phone and remote connections are usable still.
If you are in the Portland Area, and you need some telephone/DSL work, DO NOT — I REPEAT — DO NOT use Eschelon. Utter crap and incompetance.
It’s too dark, and I look a bit crazed, but here is a pic from my Mum’s visit. We are at the Butchard Gardens in Victoria.
In a bit of a loss today, feeling ungrounded.
I’m supposed to go over to a friend’s house tonight, but I’m feeling like vegging at home, or rather cooking at home. Heather got a great book from the library about deviled egg recipes and we have 2 dozen eggs to play with.
In a quandary.
Someone tried to steal the giant donut at Voodoo Donut!
The nerve of some people!
Choice quote:
“We will press charges to the fullest extent,” he yelled as an officer reached out, urging him to calm down. You don’t, he added, mess “with Voodoo’s giant doughnut.”
So here are some pics from the holiday festivities here at Mathom House:
Those who came to Krampus Nacht won’t see any surprises. Big Peecs follow.
This is the 70’s Den – 2 pics. There will be more coming.
Yes, each of these rooms has a tree.
Next is the living room:
Fear Buffy and the winter bar.
Yes, the picture on the left is of Olvera Street.
I love this HiFi.
My favourite Christmas tree so far. We got the lights at Target last year after xmas. They are large and in charge. They only get mildly warm as well.
The Monkey Hut:
Shrine o’ Tiki
A fesive season was had.
More pics coming tonight. This is a tease.
