Progress

Got the tree last night. Thanks for reccomending the place on 82nd. Not only did we get a fabulous 7′ noble fir, not only was it extremely affordable ($30), the wonderful operator delivered it for us. 😀

Living room is almost done – much still to do – added some items to the to-do list and scrached off many. Tree is decorated and it looks fabulous.

Poor had a car failure today. She borrowed her sister’s van so that she could pick up our Niece from school and it died on her, on I-84. I passed it on the way to work, and was only about 4 cars behind ODOT taking her away from it. Poor monkey. Everyone should give her some interweb hugs. 😉

One day left – I hope all goes well.

cheers everyone!

  1. I thought I saw that they delivered – glad you found them 😀

Poor Heather, I’ll go give sympathies!

  2. I was traumatized, but See’s Candy is helping me cope. Plus, my sister is going to totally owe us. Heh.

Our Christmas-fu is rocking. I feel energy comin’ on for tonight. We should make coffee. K will be thrilled we are going to decorate the Monkey Hut.

  3. Oh, have you had a chance to preview the holiday mix? I burned another one for my drive and I am liking the mix quite well. I was worried that I have 3 Dixieland Jazzy numbers together, but they didn’t wear me out. That is the middle of the CD and the “high energy point.”

  4. With Vic’s Mazda in the shop, Geico is paying for a rental. Oddest rental I have ever had, a Quad-cab Dakota pick-up. Since I have a truck, I am gonna go pick up a tree tonite.

Hooray for no pine-needles in my Jeep.

  5. I listened to it, and it is excellent. My only reservation is “Frosty the Snowman”. I think it is a combo of my dislike of the song and the fact that it seems a little out of place where it is (#5).

I wish we could have included the Elf version of Baby, It’s Cold Outside.

  6. Yeah, that’s the only weakness. I wanted another one from that album and I agonized over wehre to put it. We can move it out/replace it.
