I used to always take my coffe with cream (milk) and sugar. I was converted to black a few years ago after having straight black Peet’s.
Now, I take my coffee black when it is a good brand of coffee. I have tried to ‘treat’ myself with cream and sugar in fine coffee but have been very dissapointed since I now feel it covers too much of the good flavour.
But You know what? Crappy coffee (epecially crappy strong percolator coffee) is DELICIOUS with cream and sugar.
Go figure.
i’ve noticed that i, too, seem to put sugar and milk in crappy coffee and it comes out tasting quite alright.
