I even found a power outlet so I’m not running on battery, and the WiFi internet connection is ~800k/s. Not too damn bad. Did I mention it is FOR FREE? 😉
Does anyone know what the Fi stand for in “WiFi?” HiFi is High Fidelity. Is WiFi Wireless Fidelity? 😀
On another geeky note, I tested a connection to my Home network through VPN and it worked like a charm. Quite a bit of GeekLust in sitting here at PDX and surfing the hard drives of my servers at home. Nifty, Indeed.
Well, I think I’ll be off to surf the net while we wait. It is 3:30 and our plane boards at 4:45.
Perhaps I’ll install trillian. 😀
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving to all of you!

Which is better than the Funternut, which just tries to re-enact old episodes of Candid Camera… not as “Fun”ternet as it sounds.
We we of to SoCal – we visited with my mom in Buena Park, visited sister in LA, then Brother-in-law in Rancho Cucamonga.
I still haven’t found out what the freakin ‘Fi’ is.
WiFi is short for Wireless Fidelity, which rolls off the tongue much more easily than the official designation IEEE 802.11B
Fidelity: accuracy with which an electronic system reproduces the sound or image of its input signal
Yeah, kind works.
Harumph. Retarded Phrase.
