So I did make that Turkey on Sunday. Yummers and Cheap. For 8 bucks we’ll get about 10+ meals out of it.
I picked up some local potatoes at the farmers market and all the ingredients for my Mushroom pastie/turnovers as well. I think I’ll make those on Saturday or Sunday.
Yeah, I haven’t had my lunch yet today, can you tell?
OH! painted my nails a lovely colour (she got it for me on xmas last year) called “jar of moonbeams.” It appears to be purple when viewed from an angle, but in light you can see the yellow/green metallic glitter. Very keen, and very happy I can wear it without any overt kidding or ridicule here. It is already chipping (which I like, it makes it look more ‘tough’ 😉 )
that’s so rock n’ roll!
I love that nail color, even I am jealous of it. I need to paint my nails.
My turkey sandwich was deeeeeelicious, I am dreaming of barook(how the hell do you spell it anyway?)
Never seen it spelled. I usually sound it out as “barouk” – I wonder if I can find it on the internets?
You know, It most likely is a bastardization of “perogi”
Ba – roq
Pa – rog
For instance, the the food I knew growing up as mulduzhers is actually “Maul Tachen”
And I know it was a polish/eastern european recipe.
Yep, I’m hedging my bet with “perogi”
Hmmmmmmm, turkey.
You know, I was inspired by your post to start being a little more domestic in my own home. We moved in in July, and I still haven’t unpacked everything. And I almost never cook there. But this weekend I decided, hey, I live here, this is my cozy nest! And I made dinner two nights in a row.
So thanks.
And watch your mail, cause you and the missus have pressies heading your way.
dude, boys in nail polish are almost as hot as boys in eyeliner! =)
If I were more disciplined in a morning routine, I would do eyeliner as well – now I’ll save it for parties or fun theatre stuff like the Haunt.
I’ll post about my “wayward girl” fun I did last sunday. Heather did my hair in pigtails and everything! 😀 heheheh (was quite creepy)
Ooh boy! Prezzies?! weee!
