I’m now a firefox user.
Finally understand *when* I like tabbed browsing (only when following links in a single page to peruse later) and the lack of a useable google feature (not just search) bar has been supplanted by the “search as you type” function.
Of course, I’m not an IE hater by any stretch of the imagination, so I’m wasn’t really looking for an alternative. I’ll keep em both for a bit and compare and contrast.

Yeah, I’ll let you know. I have yet to run into any compatability issues.
The whole “right-click link, open in new window, click to bring focus back to original window” thing is now replaced with a CTRL-Click into a tab.

I can’t figure out why your computer went from “middle click opens new tab” to “middle click does no such thing.” It just… happened for some reason. I do love Windows AutoFuck ™.

Mozilla is also the same thing. I use it. Great pop up blocker on it. Face it: IE sucks majore ass! Congrats on crossing over!!!
there are some great extensions too … including double click to close tab …. gmail notifier … bugmenot .. and allow right click — I also haven’t had a bit of spyware install since I started using it
Why do I have to face something I don’t agree with? The only browser I’ve used that sucks major ass is Netscape (after version 3, and especially on a pre-OS X Mac: Crashtastic!)

May be interesting. I’m really not that much of a ‘power’ user when it comes to browsers. I’m getting more and more techno-luddite in my old age.
Oh, and just wait for the virii/spyware – Once Firefox gets enough market share, the wolves will be sure to come out (not that it bothers me, they are easy enough to avoid if one pays attention).
Eh, computers all suck. And all browsers are the same… except that Mozilla is better.
