Sams fever is back up and he has to stay another night and we have no money
I don’t know how we’re going to pay for it – The fucking hospital won’t hold a check until I get paid next week – We’ll just barely squeeze tonights stay and after that we have to bring him home even if he still needs to stay.
I don’t even know how we’re going to pay for gas in the car to get to work next week let alone food.
Our only good news is that our landlord is Heathers mum and will float us the rent for this month (which was enough to get him in the hospital and pay for him so far.)

i just posted and it ate it. Do they take care credit? www. carecredit.com they will give you free monies that you can pay off like a car payment with no or low intrest. call if you think they would take it and i can explain it better.

wow you guys sound as brok as us! you are not alone my friend… It really is depressing not having money. we sometimes go all day without eating and dinner is often our only meal every day. she drive a car with no bumber on it and one headlight to work every day and my car has only one headlit and a dented up hood, we can’t afford to fix them adn we keep getting tickets for the both of them. life does suck. especially when you know that you love someone so much and if it were just for the money situation, then you could truly enjoy the love… but it’s hard. and very tiring. 25… and I feel 52. hang in there.
I don’t know if moving him is an option, or if this will help at all, but St. Francis Emergency Vet in Vancouver is really good about payment plans and that sort of thing. When onionsniper’s cat had to be hospitalized, they let her set up payments after a deposit. They are great vets–I take my rats there and Lily went there once for an emergency thing.

Hey check out http://www.holisticat.com/ … I swear by it! When my parents left on vacation and I had to take care of their really sick/dieing cat it really helped. She was too far gone to save but I did keep her alive force feeding her pediolight water and the rice/baby formula I made in the blender. She was really bad but came back a little and was ok till my parents got home. That site helped way more than the vet did and I am of the opinion unless its surgery or something there isn’t a lot a vet can do that you can’t do at home.
I second St. Francis. It took me 6 months to pay off Bob’s hospital bill, but they were totally nice about it, and I have no credit. Not to mention that every vet there is just awesome. Good luck with your kitty.
