Still alive

So long time no update.

I’ve been incommunicado mainly because of City Of Heroes. My friend Rob stayed with us last week and he let me use his account (it is in beta now). Hooked. Damn. I picked it up for myself. B-dawg: Forget middle earth. If’n you wanna MMORPG with us peeps, It’s City of Herores.

Alongside infecting me with COH, Rob also fixed Hansel! THANKS, ROB! As it turns out hansel’s right-front wheel-nut (or something or other) was off, causing the rotor to twist wrong and making with the horrible noises. We first though it would be brake pads, but after removing the wheel, the real culprit showed it’s face. So happy. Before Rob showed up, we thought it was the axle or something expensive. So our beloved hansel is operational again!

Oh, and I officially have my 2 weeks from Fair, Issac. After April 30, I’m a free man. Who wants me?

Oh, I took some interesting pics of our drop-dead-gorgeous tree – anyone wanna see?

  1. In CoH.

I’ll only play during the beta. I’m absolutely disinterested in costumed adventuring – and I’m already involved in 4 MMOs I’m paying for, and 3 other betas. πŸ™‚

But I have several characters on each server; principally, I’m Narchost the Technology Blaster – for now. πŸ™‚

There’s also the female La Dolorosa, the Psionic Scrapper. πŸ™‚

  2. This is the only MMoRPG that I have ever enjoyed. It also helps that I’m playing with My High School GM (we played Super Hero paper/pencil RPG, Champions!) – That may be a factor.

I’m currently playing a Magic Controller on pinacle.

Would you be interested in paper-and-pencil RPGs? I have this cool 30’s era pulp-novel adventure I’ve been meaning to run… πŸ˜€

  3. His name is Moebius. My friend Devin is playing a Magic tank named Mandrake on same server.

  4. My friend and his wife have been beta’ing too. I don’t recall what she’s been using as an alias, but I think I recall him mentioning he’s playing an energy projector called “Help! I’m on Fire!”

  5. I have no idea how big that game is or how easy it is to find people since I myself don’t play, but if you happen to see Oil Boy or The Amazing Bullet Sponge, tell them hi for me. They are friends of mine.
