I know there wasn’t much confusion on that fact, here’s more evidence:
After putting chains on my cabrio and trying them out in the driveway, I become stuck. I then see the front wheels spinning. I have a front-wheel drive car, not rear-wheel. I put chains on the wrong wheels (and now can’t switch ’em cause I’m stuck).
At least hansel is still on our property and such, and the snow will be gone relatively soon so I can switch the chains, but jeeze what an eejit.
bah, simply lack of experience.
Ever seen a non-techie try to work on a computer? It’s frustrating.
Oh, that’s just the saddest thing.
I’ll drink to you at Rancho.
I think it’s Super Cute. 🙂
You can try kitty litter under the front tires. If that doesn’t work, you can also try rocking it (back up, go forward, repeat until you’re out or motion sick).
That’s it for my snow knowledge, I’m afraid.
I think you need some good music to listen to 🙂

done.
I’ll try the kitty litter. Derp! (rocking didn’t work)
Thanks!
sokay, can’t be perfect at everything, now.
Silly monkey! It’s the crazy weather that gets ya (and not checking the manual). 😛
I hope I can get the Toyota in there by Saturday!
But you could sure try a little harder 😛
Hmm, naw, not time for mean. Time for support. Hug Sam, Lulu and Fenny!
Yay! kitty litter worked (Thanks, C!) enough for me to get the chains off!! so now maybe I’ll try to get them on the proper set of wheels? 🙂
I’m actually having fun, so it’s all good.
Saturday should be clear and in the 40s, all of this melted away!
Oh, you adorable Californians!! Tee hee. You know, you’re going to have to drive in the RAIN too.
=) I’ve never in my life put chains on a car, so what the hell do I know.
I will never forget the time we staggered into a hotel bar in desperate need of whiskey, somewhere near San Diego, and were told the bar wasn’t going to open for another hour ’cause the bartender was late. The rain was slowing her down. It was barely humid. We were appalled, and whiskey-less. Damn.
Yay! I got em on the correct wheelies. Time to celebrate with a beer!
It should work. I used to keep a 40-pound in the back of my old Civic in Colorado. It weighed down the back (less chance of fishtailing), and it’s great for traction.
You’re just not used to driving in snow. You’ll learn. 🙂 (People around here can get their cars stuck in two inches. I’m floored by that, but then I lived in Pennsylvania and Colorado. 🙂
