It’s Friday and this has been a long week. I’m eager to be quite productive this weekend; Here is some positive affirmation: I will get things accomplished.

It’s going to rain all weekend, so yard cleanup may be difficult. Sunday is supposed to be clearing up a bit, maybe I’ll be able to get a lawn mowing/edging in.

Really don’t feel like working much today. Let’s see how much I can accomplish in a relaxed Friday fashion.

Hey, , do you know where I can find a pic of our tikiroom? We must have some somewhere – it’s a shame we didn’t get a ‘last hurrah’ before we started packing in it. I found some GREAT pics of the living room on your desktop that I think are worthy of posing to . Plus, there are kitties in them.

In other news, I’m having dumb fears that because I don’t have actual trilogy Tuesday tickets in hand, we are going to have difficulty – I have the Fandango proof of purchase and stuff, so we turn those in for the tix, but still – I wish I could get over it. I’d hate to have to do a 4-hr round trip to sacto just to satisfy an irrational fear.

In other news, it must be autumn, because my libido is completely insatiable. PH34R M3! 😉

  2. I wish I were snowed in at home today. I could get a fire going, make some hot chocolate (a bit of meyer’s white rum would help), play yuletide tunes.

    sigh.

  3. I’m sure we have some good ones around! Our pics really need to be reined in from their scattered folders and maybe even backed up onto disc or something.

    There should be a bunch from The Bayou Luau party. I’m not sure we got ones withouth people in them, though! Tragic! However, it was looking a little ratty lately (winter isn’t tiki time in the swamp room).

    I think that should be the second thing we unpack (kitchen first). New tiki room! Hooray!

  4. Yes. I see two categories:
    A. stuff setup without ‘room work’
    B. “room work:” Painting, decorating etc.

    Priorities for a:

    1. Kitchen/laundry: Fridge, washer, dryer
    2. Den: Computer, TV, Stereo, etc.
    3. rest of house

    Priorites for B:

    1. Kitchen: Red paint, polish chrome, get new hardware for cupboards
    2. TikiRoom: Closet Storage, Paint, etc..
    3. Living Room:
    4. Den
    5. Bedroom

  5. We’d discussed my coming to see you guys this weekend, but it sounds like you’re busy (and sick) and I’m pretty swamped myself. So how about the 24th instead? I have both the 24th and 25th off work. And if you’re going to meet up with Richard Balthazor while he’s here, hopefully I’ll see you then as well. 🙂
