Well,
Unfortunately, this money crunch and savings has nixed any trip or purchase plans, so our NY trip is cancelled. 🙁
Plus-side: once we are set in portland, we should be able to re-plan trip, so I’ll say the NY is instead delayed for the forseeable future. That sounds better, right?
You’re gonna be in in the Northwest, man! That’s powerful good news.
Yes, yes it is.
We all need a nice night on the town, and you need to sample my Mai Tai.
Hmm, so I hate you for the forseeable future?
Seriously though, moving does take precedence over vacation. Much better to have somewhere you like to come home to. Much much better. 🙂
Aw, hell. You have me. I’m back on the east coast. I’ll make you beg Heather and Craig to save you.
You should have said something sooner! Back in Red Bank, or elsewhere in Jersey? We can torture the podling! It’s a fun pastime.
Red Bank for now. Probably in the city by January.
Nifty! Cause it’s not like I’m ever in that area of Jersey. Or I work in the city. So glad you made it back here in time for the blackout. Although I’m pretty sure Red Bank wasn’t affected (my dad lives in Ocean and he was fine, as was a friend in Asbury Park). We should totally get together. Celia’s even gonna be in town the last weekend of September.
I ended up in Red Bank the other day, it wasn’t where I thought I was. It was most unfortunate. It looked nice enough, but I would’ve had to stop the car, and I decided that there was probably better sushi in Woodbridge.
Oh, and Celia said to say that I’m and not her.
I can’t believe that there’s good sushi anywhere in Woodbridge. That’s not so say that you weren’t right.
I think she meant there’s *better* sushi, though not necessarily good stuff. 😉
She says that it’s not bad in woodbridge, and that it’s even good, sort of. She can even tell you where it is, but she warns you not to try and fit a whole spider roll in your mouth at once, and especially not while laughing.
Personally, I think spider rolls sound like they’ll have arachnids in them, and there’s no way I’ll eat that.
Bitchwhore!
And you people all need to stop talking about me in public. It’s weird. And you’re both close enough for me to go hit.
Sushi=ew. Woodbridge is Jose Tejas!!! And someone else driving so I can have daquiris.
T and I actually got our wedding rings in Red Bank. Not easy to find a swan design from the Book of Kells, after all. (No, mine still won’t come off…)
Hey podling, sound like a plan for the near future? Mal? I’m busy Saturday but any other day is fine? Or next weekend. Whatever. I never did get rip-roaring drunk in the Land of Power on Friday.
Well, the sushi place has hibachi too, but still. Jose Tejas is faboo! I haven’t been there for a while, so I’m all for it. I have rehearsal/building stuff going on most nights, but not all, so sure. 🙂
