Hey
We’re looking at late Sept. or early Oct. (these dates can change if there is a good time for visiting). Late Oct we need to be in CA for visit from
Needs:
1. to visit happy lovely friends
2. to “see NY”
3. to go to clubs/bars
4. to shop in garment district
5.
New York, New York! The town so nice, they named it twice!!
Woooo! I’ll ask the Man, but our apt. is only a one bedroom and so kinda cramped. I’ve got plans on Sept. 27 (but it’s only a larp–I could easily miss it if that’s when you guys are here).
You guys are welcome to our living room for a week. But recall that I live in NJ, about an hour away from the city by train.
The town so nice, they named it twice!!
I recommend Walla Walla, if you’re into that sort of thing.
Thank you very much for the offer. One hour by train is quite decent. We’ll put you in the “offering” column. 😀 hee!
I don’t know, I’ve never ‘Walla’ed.
Full disclosure: I have four house mates and I do have to get their permission at some point. I do not think that will be a problem, however.
You could totally stay with me!!! Though my new place is smaller, I should warn, and honestly,‘s place is nicer. Oh, and a similar distance from NYC and Philly both. But still, I want you, I do!!! I was thinking of having my house warming party near then too… hmmn, shall have to think.
Note taken. We still have time to plan and plot. This post is a warning shot accross all your bows.
That sounds a bit suggestive.
Come and stay with me! We’ll camp oout on Assateague and everyone can come down and stay! Hee!
But both are also only half an hour or so from me by car. Arrrr!
Woohoo! Then I will need a place to crash for part of that week too, so I can come see you, and can come meet you. Hmmmm…
I think we should go to Arlene’s Grocery for the punk/alternative
karaoke, where the back up is a band! (It’s Monday nights at 10, I’ve never gone though…)
One other day that’s bad for most of us. Oct. 7 is Eddie Izzard night!
I will be in NJ for a writing workshop Sep. 26-28, was going to try to meet a few LJ people. You and would be a whole lot of fun to meet I think. 🙂
Ken
they are they are it’s true. Kind of like a tornado.
I grew up in Walla walla County.
I wouldn’t recommend it. =)
Oooo, yeah! And will be there too!
I went to Whitman College. When I went back for my 5 year reunion, I was amazed by how much the town has changed since then. It’s becoming another chic town for exurbanites, like Bend or Hood River.
I grew up in Burbank! woo! =)
::envyenvyenvy::
I’ll be in town at the same time. Remind me to show you my home town.
