  1. I suppose that I am just trolling for trouble… but are you gonna go see any of the historic sites? Or maybe the Smithsonian?

  2. I’d just go out in front of the Smithsonian and hang out with the Hari Krishnas…. at least, that’s what I did back in the day. I heard so many renditions of Hari Krishna Hari Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hari Hari…. fun stuff.

  3. If I have time, I’ll likely stroll the Mall, see Lincoln memorial, Washinton monument. I doubt Ill have enough time to remotely do the Smithsonian any justice, so I don’t want to tease myself with a visit.

    A funny story:

While driving this morning I look at the skyline and say to myself: “Gee, that looks just like the Washinton Monument.”

    duh.

  4. My aunt and cousin are coming down for the protest tomorrow, so I’ll be down on the mall for an hour or two. There will probably not be hare krishnas infront of the smithsonian because of the (hopefully) large numbers of protestors.

And Crystal City doesn’t count as DC.

  5. LOL

I can totally see how that would happen… being from out west none of those places has a real “reality” for us… you forget that they are really there.

Like we all ignore Disneyland around here…
