Crappy Christmas

On Christmas Eve, our sweet little cat Emo was run over and killed in front of us, so that pretty much ended any happiness to be had.
I really don’t even want to be at work today. At least can stay home and try to recover (her business is on break).
Things really suck sometimes.

I’m really ready for a nice surprise – these bad ones aren’t that much fun anymore.

  1. Oh, I’m so sorry!! Every so often, Merlin makes a break for the door and I have horrible visions of what could happen.

    Hugs to you both.

  2. I’m so sorry, Craig.
Alex died two weeks before christmas 5 years ago, but not quite so tragically…
I guess what I’m trying to say is, I feel for you both.

  3. Thanks everybody.. I wasn’t fishing for attention (ok, maybe a little bit) – But wanted to put that out so if we were absent online, you’d know why…

  4. I am very sorry to hear about your poor cat, Craig. I know exactly what you are going through as my street has become sort of a feline Verdun over the years. My love and sympathy both to you and Heather.

  5. Craig, Heather, I’m so sorry to hear that. It’s a terrible thing to lose a pet that way (not that there’s a good way, but some ways are less terrible than others).

Hopefully, the LOTR Risk has gone some way towards restoring your spirits.

  6. Hey Man, I hope you don’t mind friend-of-a-friend condolences. Very sorry to hear about your Cat. Been there.
